Teeyan, also known as Teeyan Da Teohar or Teej, is a traditional Punjabi monsoon festival honoring women—especially daughters, sisters, and mothers. Traditionally, it marks the arrival of the rainy season and includes giddha dance, boliyan singing, swings, and traditional sweets.
