Experience Crossing The Line 2025, the electrifying fall festival presented by L’Alliance New York! Spanning September 9 to November 22, this year’s lineup promises a cascade of breakthrough performances, world and North American premieres across dance, theater, visual art, film, and music — all rooted in boundary-breaking creativity and global perspectives. 🎉
Kick off the festival with D’Est en musique, the New York premiere of Chantal Akerman’s famed film-inspired musical work, performed by acclaimed cellist Sonia Wieder-Atherton and pianist Sarah Rothenberg, setting the tone for an immersive cultural journey (Sept 9) 🌇.
Expect interactive art through Les tutomouves, an all-ages sculptural workshop from Clédat & Petitpierre; riveting theatrical explorations by Marion Siéfert, Rimini Protokoll, Tiago Rodrigues, and Carolina Bianchi; thought-provoking dance and performance works from Noé Soulier, Kimberly Bartosik, Ruth Childs, Compagnie Dyptik, Wanjiru Kamuyu, and Will Rawls; plus an intimate dance storytelling session for young audiences with Amala Dianor.
