Angine de Poitrine at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom

🎸 Angine de Poitrine comes to Portland! Get ready for an adventurous night of experimental and progressive rock when the Canadian duo takes the stage at the iconic McMenamins Crystal Ballroom on Thursday, December 10, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. The event is listed as all ages.

🔥 Known for their unconventional approach to rock music, Angine de Poitrine combines tight, pulsing drum grooves with intricate double-neck microtonal guitar work. Their sound is asymmetrical, dissonant and highly energetic, creating an immersive live experience that pushes beyond traditional rock conventions. Their music draws inspiration from acid techno, disco and rock while embracing unusual structures, humor and experimental textures.

🎶 The Portland performance is part of Angine de Poitrine’s extensive 2026 tour and features zouz as the supporting act. The band’s touring schedule places the Portland show among a series of U.S. performances throughout late 2026.

✨ Fans can expect a high-energy evening of inventive guitar sounds, driving rhythms and genre-defying musical ideas. The concert is especially suited to listeners interested in experimental rock, microtonal music, progressive rock, math rock, psychedelic sounds and contemporary Canadian/Quebec music.

📍 Hosted at Portland’s historic McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, the show offers music fans an opportunity to experience Angine de Poitrine in one of the city's best-known live-music venues. Whether you're already familiar with the duo or discovering their distinctive sound for the first time, this December concert promises an unusual and memorable night of live music.
